Game Client and Server Architecture

  • High-Throughput Infrastructure: We’ve built a flexible, high-throughput client-server system tailored for real-time interactions. This ensures stable gameplay even during peak usage and provides the scalability needed for future expansions.

  • Backend Services (Auth, SQL, Patching): Robust server-side components now handle user authentication, database management, and patch deployment. By centralizing these elements, we can roll out updates more efficiently and maintain a secure, unified environment for all players.

  • Unity Integration: The game client is developed in Unity, allowing for rapid iteration and real-time testing. This synergy between client and server ensures smooth data exchange, minimizing latency and preserving responsiveness in multiplayer scenarios.

Smart Contracts for Game Logic

  • On-Chain Transactions: Core game functions—such as trading and minting or transferring NFTs—are administered through secure smart contracts. This decentralized approach offers transparency, helping to build trust and bolster community engagement.

  • Immutable Integration: We’ve chosen Immutable, an Ethereum Layer-2 solution, for its high transaction throughput and gas-free NFT capabilities. This setup not only reduces fees and friction for players but also provides a reliable backbone for our in-game economy.

  • Future Custodial Wallet Option: While we currently cater to die-hard NFT enthusiasts, we’re exploring a custodial wallet option to simplify onboarding for newcomers, further lowering entry barriers into the blockchain gaming space.
